The term “pelvic floor” refers, broadly, to the group of muscles that span the bottom of the pelvis. These muscles support the bladder, uterus, and rectum, and are responsible for controlling sexual function as well as urinary and bowel functions. On a higher level, the pelvic floor also helps to support you (and your internal organs) when maintaining all aspects of an active lifestyle, such as running or weight lifting!

All pelvic floor PT sessions will be one-on-one, in a private room. Your therapist will work with you to assess your condition, develop a personalized treatment plan, and guide you through exercises and techniques that target the specific concerns you are facing. Our primary focus is always to prioritize your comfort and provide a safe and supportive environment throughout your therapy journey!

Pelvic floor physical therapy can be beneficial for individuals of all genders and ages. So, whether you are struggling with pelvic floor-related concerns or are unsure whether pelvic floor PT could help you, Invictus is here to provide expert care, guidance, and education. Let us help you to improve your quality of life and regain control over your pelvic health.
